Our Story

Ray Brandes (vocals and harmonica), Chris Davies (guitar), Pete Miesner (vocals, guitar, bass), Ron Silva (vocals, bass, guitar), Craig Packham (drums) and Mark Boyce (keyboards) are the Mothmen, San Diego's hottest beat, rhythm 'n' blues and rock 'n' roll combo. Composed of members of such stalwart San Diego bands as the Crawdaddys, the Penetrators, the Tell-Tale Hearts, and the Unknowns, the Mothmen have years of experience both rocking and rolling. Collectively and separately, they have toured all over the United States and Europe. Their new EP, “The Mothmen",” features four original songs and some beautiful cover art by the Schizophonics’ Pat Beers.
